ICAI Introduces CBT Mode for Advanced IT Test 2025-26
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) recently shared an announcement on November 17, 2025 regarding the Adv. Information Technology Test.
ICAI shared that it has been decided to conduct the Advanced ICITSS-Adv. IT Test in Computer Based Test (CBT) Mode. Following are the dates for Computer Based Test:

Timings: The timing of Examination is 10:30 to 12:30 PM (IST).
Fee: If you are taking the test for the first time, you don’t have to pay any fee.
If you take the test again (second time or more), you must pay an Rs 500 fee online.
For test centres:
Dubai: The fee is USD $150.
Kathmandu: The fee is Rs 850.
ICAI’s main reason to conduct these tests on computer is to promote digital ecosystems and empower IT initiatives in smaller cities of India. ICAI is conducting AICITSS in CBT mode at 20 new cities in the months of March and April 2026.
