ICAI Issues Exposure Draft on Overseas Network Guidelines The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has issued an Exposure draft via its Committee for Aggregation of CA firms (CACAF), which was established in 2024-25 in order to thoroughly study and update the various guidelines that were concerning CA firms. The exposure draft includes the detailed proposed Guidelines of the Overseas network. In the 442nd meeting of the ICAI council, it was stated that from now on, it is open to the feedback of the Public or their suggestions.
ICAI releases Draft Panel for Appointment of Statutory Auditors to Co-operative Banks for 2025-26
The main purpose of the proposed guidelines was to form a complete framework that consists of the details, like how CA firms of India can join in or make international networks. Moreover, the stakeholders are encouraged to make comments with logical explanations and practical suggestions for the betterment. The interested entities must submit their feedback online via email or by postal mail by June 27, 2025.
