The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) is honoured to announce this great news that its President, CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda has recently been awarded a reputable ET Leadership Excellence Award 2025 under the category Leadership in Professional Excellence. ICAI showed this proud feeling in a special event held in New Delhi by the well-known National Award-winning actor Shri Anupam Kher.
He was joined by CA. Prasanna Kumar D, Vice-President of ICAI, and other Central Council Members of ICAI. Over the years, CA. Charanjot Singh Nanda has played a major role at ICAI by introducing several significant developmental initiatives at ICAI. As the head of the Digital Accounting and Assurance Board, he launched the Forensic Accounting and Investigation Standards (FAIS), making ICAI a world leader in this area. He also served four terms as a Central Council Member, where he worked on several committees, always pushing for new innovation and progress.
He always came up with ideas to amalgamate Artificial Intelligence (AI) and advanced technologies with professions to improve efficiency and correctness. He focuses on balancing work and personal life, indicating his dedication to creating an environment that values both career success and personal happiness. His leadership at ICAI always contributed to progress in areas like global partnerships, sustainability, helping youth, skill-building, and forensic accounting, leading change through innovation and meaningful goals.
