ICAI Re-schedules CA Intermediate May 2026 Exam Dates; Check Revised Dates
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released an Official Notification No. 1|3-CA(EXAM)/MAY/2026/II, dated April 9, 2026, regarding the CA Intermediate May 2026 Exams Rescheduling.
In a slight modification to the institute's earlier Notification No. 13-CA (EXAM)/MAY/2026, dated December 17, 2025, the ICAI has rescheduled the exam commencement date for CA Intermediate May 2026, across India and abroad, due to some unavoidable reasons. Previously, the ICAI CA Intermediate May 2026 Examinations were scheduled to begin from May 03, 2026, [Sunday], now they have been rescheduled to begin from May 05, 2026 [Tuesday].
Candidates must note that no changes have been made to the exam timings; they remain unchanged, i.e., from 2 PM to 5 PM. The ICAI CA Intermediate May 2026 Examinations will be conducted per the syllabus contained in the scheme notified by the Council under Regulation 28 F of the Chartered Accountants Regulations, 1988
The following is the revised schedule for the ICAI CA Intermediate May 2026 Examinations:
Note: ICAI has clarified that no revisions have been introduced to the exam schedules of other examinations, such as Foundation, Final and PQC [INTT – AT], as flagged by the earlier Notification No. 13-CA(EXAM)/MAY/2026 dated December 17, 2025.
The ICAI has recommended that all the candidates stay in touch with its official website, i.e., www.icai.org, for the latest updates. Any further changes in the examination schedule of any CA examinations (if made in future) will be updated on the same website.
