ICAI releases Exposure Draft of Guidance Note on Bank Audit The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has released an Exposure Draft of Guidance Note on Bank Audit. Every year, the Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (AASB) of ICAI, with the authorization of the ICAI Council, publishes a revised edition of the "Guidance Note on Audit of Banks" to provide specific guidance to auditors on statutory audit of banks and bank branches. The AASB is currently working on the Guidance Note on Bank Audit (2024 Edition). In this context, the AASB has released the Exposure Draft of the Guidance Note on Audit of Banks (2024 Edition) for public comment. The AASB is seeking comments on the Exposure Draft from a variety of stakeholders. Through Official Email or Postal anyone can submit comments on the Exposure Draft.
