ICFRE Recruitment 2023 for Various Posts: Check Posts, Qualification, and Interview Details
ICFRE Recruitment 2023: The Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE), under the Forest Research Institute (FRI), has issued an online call for applications from qualified individuals for Programme Officer, Information Officer, and IT/GIS Officer purely on a temporary basis. There are a total of 03 vacancies for the given posts, one for each. According to the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2023, the age of the candidates should be below 40 years as on 01/06/2022, which is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST, Women, Physically Handicapped, and OBC.

The Indian Council of Forestry Research & Education (ICFRE), Dehradun’s Forest Research Institute (FRI), has invited applications from qualified individuals for the following posts:
1. Programme Officer – 01
2. Information Officer – 01
3. IT/GIS Officer – 01
The upper age limit for Programme Officer, Information Officer & IT/GIS Officer is 40 years as on 01/06/2022, which is relaxable up to 5 years for candidates belonging to SC/ST, Women, Physically Handicapped and OBC.
Candidates must have these qualifications to apply for different positions:
For the Post of Programme Officer:
The candidate should hold an M.Sc.(NaturalScience/ Environmental Science)/B.Tech./BE, well versed in computer applications/ Web development with at least 5 years of experience.
For the Post of Information Officer:
The candidate should be a Graduate in science or equivalent; good knowledge of computer/PG Diploma in (RS/GIS) with two-year of working experience in relevant areas.
For the Post of IT/GIS Officer:
The eligible candidate should hold a PG Diploma in (RS/GIS) with at least 1 year of experience/Graduate, good knowledge of computer technology (website development, designing, internet, publication etc.) with two years of experience.
According to the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be paid a fellowship amount of the following amount:
For the Post of Programme Officer will be paid Rs. 50000 + HRA only.
For the Post of Information Officer will be paid an amount of Rs. 42000 only.
For the Post of Project Scientist will be paid Rs. 34000 only + HRA per month TA/DA admissible equivalent to Grade ‘A’ Officer per month.
The tenure will be initially for one year or up to the project completion period whichever is earlier and may be extended as per ICFRE rules.
As per the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment, 2023, interested and eligible candidates must bring a copy of their bio-data along with a recent passport-size photograph, self-attested copies of all educational certificates, and relevant documents for submission to the office of the Group Coordinator (Research), P.O. New Forest, FRI, Dehradun. No separate letter will be issued for attending the interview and No TA/DA will be paid for attending the Interview.
