Age Limit for ICFRE Recruitment 2024:

As mentioned in the official notification of ICFRE Recruitment 2024, the maximum age limit for applying for the post of Project Scientist is 45 years, Research Associate is 35 years, SRF/ SPF is 32 years and JRF/ JPF is 28 years. Salary for ICFRE Recruitment 2024:

• The candidates selected for the post of Project Scientist-III will get a monthly salary of Rs.78000+HRA as per the rules.
• The candidates selected for the post of Project Scientist-II will get a monthly salary of Rs.67000+HRA as per the rules.
• The candidates selected for the post of Research Associate-I will get a monthly salary of Rs.47000+HRA.
• The candidates selected for the post of Senior Project Fellow (SPF) of Rs.23000 and Junior Project Fellow (JPF) will get a monthly salary of Rs.20000.
• The candidates selected for the post of Research Associate will get a monthly salary of Rs.49000+HRA.
• The candidates selected for the post of Junior Research Fellow will get a monthly salary of Rs.31000+HRA as per rules (with NET/ GATE qualified) and Rs.25000+HRA as per rules (without NET qualified).
• The candidates selected for the post of Project Assistant will get a monthly salary of Rs.19000.
• The candidates selected for the post of Field Assistant will get a monthly salary of Rs.20000.

Qualification Required for ICFRE Recruitment 2024:

Educational Qualification according to the posts is as mentioned below:

Project Scientist-III:

• The candidates should have a Doctoral degree in Environmental Science/ Ecology from a recognized university.

Project Scientist-II:

• The candidates should have a Doctoral degree in Forestry/ Environmental Science Ecology from a recognized university.

Desirable Qualifications for Project Scientist-III and Project Scientist-II:

• The candidates should have exposure to RS and GIS in the form of a project/ assignment diploma/ certificate, activities, statistical analysis extension Evidence of scientific research as a paper/ dissertation.

Research Associate:

• The candidates should have a Doctorate Degree in Soil Science/ Forestry/ Environment Management/Environment Science.

Desirable:

The candidates must have prior knowledge of:

• Soil, water, and plant nutrient analysis.
• Inorganic and organic fertilizer recommendations.
• Writing and compilation of research project completion reports.
• Data analysis using remote sensing and GIS techniques.
• Publications in peer-reviewed international/ national Journals. Imparting capacity building on nutrient management.
• Willingness to undertake extensive travel and conduct field training.

Senior Project Fellow/ Junior Project Fellow:

• The candidates should have first class M.Tech/ M.Sc. in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geo-informatics or First class M.A./ M.Sc. in Geography with a Diploma/ Certificate Course in Remote Sensing and GIS/ Geo-informatics.

Junior Project Fellow and Senior Project Fellow:

• The candidates should have First class M.Sc. in Cellulose and Paper Technology/ Wood Science and Technology/ Chemistry/ Botany.
