The National Institute of Cancer Prevention and Research (NICPR) of the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) is seeking qualified applicants to temporarily fill the positions of Project Scientist I (Non-Medical) and Project Technical Support III. Project Scientist I (Non Medical)

• Candidate must have 1st First Class BE or B-Tech degree of 4 years in Computer Science/Information Technology
  OR
• Candidate must have 1st class Post Graduate degree in Biostatistics/Public Health /Population studies / Life Science, including integrated PG
  degree
  OR
• Candidate must have 2nd class Post Graduate in Biostatistics/ Public Health/ Population studies / Life Science with a Ph.D. in relevant subject from a recognized University

Desirable

• Having web development experience

1. Strong analytical knowledge and experience of handling large datasets
2. Knowledge of handling biological database.
3. Knowledge of handling statistical tools (R, MATLAB, STATAetc)
4. Experience in machine learning techniques and artificial indigence (AI)

Project Technical Support III

• Candidate must have 1st Class BE or B-Tech degree of 4 years in Computer Science /Information Technology and three years experience in relevant field
  OR
• Candidate must have a Graduate degree in Biostatistics/Public Health/Population studies/ Bioinformatics / Life Science and three years relevant experience or PG in Biostatistics/Public Health/Population studies/Life Science

Desirable

• Experience in machine learning artificial Intelligence techniques.
• Strong analytical knowledge and experience in handling large datasets
• Knowledge of handling a bilogical database
• Knowledge of handling statistical software (R, STATA, Python, Redcap etc.)

• A publication record which demonstrates experience in the conduct, analysis and reporting of analytical and clinical research of infectious diseases.
• The ability to understand and interpret complex research and scientific projects, and to communicate key messages to specialist and non-specialist audiences.
• A willingness to travel for meetings and events
• Fluency or working level in English
• Experience of biostatistical application in the field of medical statistics and/or epidemiology.
• Research experience in parasitology, epidemiology and surveillance of infectious diseases,
• Experience in supervision of research teams, students and research staff.

Project Technical Support III

• A publication record that demonstrates experience in the conduct, analysis and reporting of analytical and clinical research of infectious diseases.
• A willingness to travel for meetings and events.
• Experience of biostatistical application in the field of medical statistics and/or epidemiology.
• Experience in supervision of research teams, students and research staff.
