Post Name and Vacancies for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

ICMR invites applications from eligible candidates for the posts of Technical Assistant, Technician-1 and Laboratory Assistant. As per the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, there are a total of 15 vacancies for the given post.

1- Technical Assistant- 03 (02 for UR and 01 for OBC)

2- Technician-1- 08 (03 for UR, 01 for EWS, 03 for OBC and 01 for SC)

3- Laboratory Assistant- 04 (02 for UR, 01 for EWS and 01 for OBC)

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, the upper age limit is given below-

For Technical Assistant- The maximum age limit is 30 years.

For Technician-1- The maximum age limit is 28 years.

For Laboratory Assistant- The maximum age limit is 25 years.

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, the selected candidate will be given a monthly salary between Rs. 18000 to Rs. 112400.

For Technical Assistant- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of upto Rs. 112400. 

For Technician-1- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of upto Rs. 63200. 

For Laboratory Assistant- The selected candidate will be given a monthly salary of upto Rs. 56900. 

Qualification for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

Candidates must have the given below qualifications to apply for ICMR Recruitment 2023. 

For Technical Assistant-

Veterinary Sciences-

• 1st class Bachelor’s degree (Minimum three years) in Veterinary Sciences (B.V. Sc.) from a recognized University.

Life sciences- 

• 1st class Bachelor’s degree (Minimum three years) in Zoology from a recognized University.

Bioscience and Bioinformatics-

• 1st class Bachelor’s degree (Minimum three years) in Bioscience & Bio informatics (or) Biotechnology from a recognized University

For Technician-1-

Life Sciences-

• 12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks.
• At least One-year Diploma in MLT from a Govt. recognized institution.

Computer Sciences-

• 12th or Intermediate pass in Science subject with 55% marks.
• At least or One-year Diploma in Computer applications science from a Govt. recognized institution.

For Laboratory Assistant-

• 10th pass with 50% marks in aggregate from recognized board
• One year working experience in a Govt. recognized/approved/registered lab.

Application Fee for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, candidates have to pay Rs. 300 as application fee in the form of Indian Postal Order/Demand Draft only in the favor of “Director, ICMR-RMRC, Dibrugarh” and payable at Dibrugarh. SC/ST/PwBD and Women candidates are exempted from payment of application fee as per GoI orders.

How to Apply for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of ICMR recruitment 2023, eligible candidates can apply online through the official website on or before 09.08.23. After submitting the application form online, candidates have to take a print out of the same application form and send it by post super scribing “Application for the post of _ (name of the post), (Registration Number)” to The Director, ICMR-Regional Medical Research Centre, Bokul, Lahowal, Dibrugarh- 786003, Assam on or before 12.08.23.
