There are 09 vacancies for the Posts in total.

Place of Work for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

According to ICMR Recruitment 2023 Notification, the selected candidate will be placed at Nutrition Monitoring Research Unit in Southern Region located at ICMR, Hyderabad, Telangana with extensive travel to different states of South India.

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

The candidate should not exceed the age of 40 years for the Post of Project Scientist C (Medical).

The candidate should not exceed the age of 35 years for the Post of Project Scientist B (Non-Medical).

For the Post of Project Research Assistant (Foods & Nutrition /Sociology / Anthropology), the candidate should not be above the age of 30 years.

Qualifications for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

As per the ICMR Recruitment 2023 advertisement, post-wise qualifications are given below;

1. For the Post of Project Scientist C   

The candidate should hold a Post Graduate Degree (MD/MS/DNB) (Medical) Plus HRA after MBBS with one year of experience in community or field studies

OR

He/She should hold a Post Graduate Diploma in Medical subjects after MBBS with two years of experience in community or field studies

OR

MBBS degree with 4 years of experience in community or field studies after MBBS Degree.

2. For the Role of Project Scientist B (Non-Medical):

The candidate should hold a 1st class Master’s degree in Physical Plus HRA/Biological Anthropology

OR

He/She should hold a Sociology OR Social Work from a recognized University with two years experience in community or field studies OR 2nd class Master’s degree with Ph. D in relevant subjects from a recognized University OR BDS Degree with one year experience in community or field studies (MPH degree will be considered as two years of experience).

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2023:

The candidate selected for the Post of Project Scientist C (Medical) will be paid Rs. 64,000.

The candidate selected for the Post of Project Scientist B (Non-Medical) will be paid Rs. 48,000.

The candidate for the Post of Project Research Assistant (Foods & Nutrition /Sociology / Anthropology) will be paid Rs. 31,000.
