Post Name and Vacancies for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, there are 03 vacancies open for the post of Project Scientist-B, Project Junior Research Fellow and Project Programmer.

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The age criteria for applying to ICMR Recruitment 2024 are listed below-

• Candidate should not exceed the age of 35 years for applying to the post of Project Scientist-B and Project Junior Research Fellow.
• Candidate should not exceed the age of 30 years for applying to the post of Project Programmer.

Qualification for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The required qualifications and experience for ICMR Recruitment 2024 are mentioned below-

For Project Scientist B-

• The applicant must have 1st Class Master’s Degree in Nutrition / Food and Nutrition / Applied Nutrition / Sports Nutrition / Home Science / Public Health from a recognized university OR 2nd class Master’s degree with a Ph.D. in the above-mentioned subjects from a recognized University.

Desirable-

• The applicant must have Knowledge and Experience in organizing webinars and community education programs.
• The applicant must have Research experience in Community Nutrition or Public Health Nutrition.
• The applicant must have Good written and oral communication skills with fluency in English.
• The applicant must have the ability to compare different datasets related to the nutrition and health status of different populations.
• The applicant must have content writing for community-based Nutrition Education Programmes.
• The applicant must have excellent interpersonal skills and organizational skills.

For Project Junior Research Fellow-

• The applicant must have a Master’s in Nutrition / Food and Nutrition / Home Science / Applied Nutrition / Food Technology and should have been qualified in NET through a process described in any one of the following-
• Scholars who have been selected through National Eligibility Tests – UGC-NET, Including lectureship (Assistant Professional) and GATE.
• The selection process through National level examinations conducted by Central Government Departments and their agencies and Institutions such as DST, DBT, DAE, DOS, DRDO, MHRD, ICAR, CSIR, ICMR, IIT, IISc, IISER etc.

Desirable-

• The applicant must have Knowledge of data collection.

For Project Programmer-

• The applicant must have a B.Tech /B.E (Computer Science and Engineering / Information technology/ Electronics and Communication Engineering) from a recognized university with at least One year of experience in Developing Web Applications.

Desirable-

• The applicant must have experience in web development technologies like HTML5 / CSS3/ JavaScript (ES6)/ Bootstrap 4 and 5.
• The applicant must have a strong knowledge of OOP JavaScript, and React JS.
• The applicant must have hands-on experience in Git version control.
• The applicant must have experience in hosting/ deployment of web Applications is required but not mandatory.

Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The chosen candidates for ICMR Recruitment 2024 will be given a monthly salary as indicated below-

• The selected candidates for the post of Project Scientist-B will be given a monthly salary of Rs.55000 without any other allowances (as per the sanction).
• The selected candidates for the post of Project Junior Research Fellow will be given a monthly salary of Rs.39370 without any other allowances (as per the sanction).
• The selected candidates for the post of Project Programmer will be given a monthly salary of Rs.35000 without any other allowances (as per the sanction).

Tenure for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The selected candidates for ICMR Recruitment 2024 will be appointed up to 31.12.2024. The place of posting will be at ICMR-NIN and field visits in and around Hyderabad if needed.

Selection Process for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The candidates will be selected for ICMR Recruitment 2024 on the basis of a walk-in interview. The candidates are advised to bring all original certificates of educational qualifications (from SSC onwards), No Objection Certificate from a present employer if working in ICMR Projects (compulsory), Experience, Aadhaar Card, Community and PWD Certificate (if applicable) for availing age relaxation, passport size photograph along with one set of photocopies of the certificates duly attested (can be self-attested) at the time of interview for verification.
