Tenure for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

Referring to the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the candidate will be initially appointed for a period of up to 01 year (extendable as per norms).

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2024: 

As stated in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the age limit is mentioned below:

For Junior Research Fellow and Project Technical Support -II –

• The applicant’s age limit should not exceed 30 years.

For Project Technical Support -III –

• The applicant’s age limit should not exceed 35 years.

Emolument for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

As indicated in the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the emolument is given below:

For Junior Research Fellow –

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.31000.

For Project Technical Support -III –

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.28000.

For Project Technical Support -II –

• The selected candidate will get a monthly salary of Rs.20000.

Essential Qualifications and Experience for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

Based on the official notification of ICMR Recruitment 2024, the required qualifications and experience are given below:

For Junior Research Fellow –

• The candidate should have Post Graduate Degree in Basic Science or Post Graduate Degree in Professional Course.

Desirable-

• Preference will be given to those who have training/ research job experience in Dengue Immunology, Cellular and Molecular Biology, Dengue pathophysiology, work on matrix metalloproteases (MMPs), Gene Sequencing, Neuroimmunology, DMLT/MLT, other viral diseases or related field (At M.Sc.).

For Project Technical Support -III –

Desirable–

• The candidate should have 03 Year Graduate in Biology (zoology, Botany and chemistry) or related subject/ field + three-year experience or PG in Biology (zoology, Entomology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology etc.) or relevant subject/ field.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have Research/ field work Experience in different Public Health projects, in a government, autonomous, PSU, recognized organization. DMLT/MLT will be an added advantage. Virus Culture, Call Culture or Dengue Pathology related Experience will be prepared.

For Project Technical Support -II –

• The candidate should have a 12th in Science plus Diploma in (MLT/DMLT/Engineer ing) Five Year Exeperience in relevant subject/field.

Desirable–

• The candidate should have Research/ field work Experience in different Public Health projects, Cell Culture & Dengue work will be an added advantage, in a government, autonomous, PSU, recognized organization. Knowledge of computer applications.

Interview Details for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

According to the official notification for ICMR Recruitment 2024, the mode of selection is based on walk-in interview. No TA/DA will be paid either for interview in person/joining the post.
