Salary for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

As stated in the official notification for ICMR Recruitment 2024, the applicants will be paid a salary are mentioned below:

For Jr. Medical Officer

• The applicants will be paid a monthly consolidated of Rs. 60000 plus FDA 15000.

For SRF (Food and Nutrition)

• The applicants will be paid a monthly consolidated of Rs. 44450 plus FDA 12000.

For Sr. Technical Assistant

• The applicants will be paid a monthly consolidated of Rs. 32000 plus FDA 12000.

For Project Assistant (phlebotomist)

• The applicants will be paid a monthly consolidated of Rs. 31000 plus FDA 12000.

For Fieldworker

• The applicants will be paid a monthly consolidated of Rs. 18000 plus FDA 10000.

Essential Qualification for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

The Candidates must have the necessary essential qualifications for applying to ICMR Recruitment 2024 as described below:

For Jr. Medical Officer

• The candidates should have an MBBS/BAMS/BDS Degree from a recognized university and registration in the respective medical/AYUSH/dental council and be willing to work in the field and be able to understand the local language.

Desirable: Masters in public health Or a minimum of one year of experience in the field or community studies.

For SRF (Food and Nutrition)

• The candidates should have a Master’s (M.Sc./MPH) in Food & Nutrition, Home Science be willing to work in the field and able to understand the local language.

For Sr. Technical Assistant

• The candidates should have a graduate in anthropology/social science/sociology/science(biochemistry/microbiology/social work from a recognized university with a minimum of two years of experience or post postgraduate degree in the above-specified subjects and be considered as two years of experience and willing to work in the filed.

Desirable: experience in drawing blood samples, and processing blood samples in field studies.

For Project Assistant (phlebotomist)

• The candidates should have a graduate in MLT or life sciences from a recognized university OR two years of DMLT with one year of relevant experience (the blood sample collection)OR B.SC (Nursing)/B.SC. Life Sciences(the blood sample collection)AND willing to work in the field and able to understand the local language.

Desirable: Experience in blood sample collection from human participants, processing, labelling, storage and transport under the cold chain.

For Fieldworker

• The candidates should have a 12th pass in science subject and be willing to work in the field & able to understand the local language.

Desirable: minimum one-year experience in data collection from field or community.

Age Limit for ICMR Recruitment 2024:

• The candidates applying for the post of Jr. Medical Officer and SRF (Food and Nutrition) should not exceed 35 years and the post of Sr. Technical Assistant, Project Assistant (phlebotomist) and Field Worker should not exceed 30 years.
