ICSI Extends Validity of July 2021 CSEET Results by 6 Months

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) Extends Validity of July 2021 CSEET Results by 6 Months.

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India has relaxed the dates for registering in Company Secretary Executive Programme, for Class 12 students who cleared their CSEET in July 2021. The validity of the July 2021 CSEET result has now been extended from July 20, 2022, to January 20, 2023.

Due to the Covid-19 outbreak, the CBSE held their Class 12 examination in two terms this year. Students who were enrolled in Class 12 when they took the CSEET in July 2021 would have lost a year as a result of the delayed results of their Class 12 Term-II examinations.

In light of the aforementioned, the CBSE requested an extension from the ICSI for students on the basis of compassion, citing the aforementioned reason for the delay in holding the CBSE class 12 examination. Given the circumstances, the Institute’s Council agreed to assist these students and extend the validity of the July 2021 CSEET results until January 20, 2023, without setting any precedent for the future.

According to the decision made by the ICSI Council at its meeting on July 21, 2022, applicants for the Company Secretary Executive Program will have until January 20, 2023, to submit the required Class 12 pass certificate.
