ICSI Invites Feedback from Company Secretaries on Practical Difficulties in Relation to IEPF Claims

The Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has made an official announcement dated March 10, 2026, addressed to all its professional colleagues regarding the receipt of feedback from CSs on practical difficulties in relation to IEPF claims.

The ICSI claims that it always works hard to build connections between regulatory authorities and stakeholders, making sure the compliance process stays transparent and effective. To meet this aim, the authority is inviting valuable inputs from the Companies Secretaries (CSs) relating to the challenges and issues faced by them in relation to the Investor Education and Protection Fund (IEPF) Authority. Both CS in practice and those presently employed are allowed to submit their inputs.

The IEPF Authority plays a key role in protecting investors’ interests by making sure unclaimed dividends, shares, and other benefits are correctly and safely transferred. At the same time, we understand that professionals often face practical challenges when applying these rules in real situations.

To collect these inputs submitted by professionals in a proper and structured manner, the ICSI has developed a Google Form. This will help them understand every issue more clearly, and they will accordingly find possible solutions for them. This activity will enhance efficiency and will reinforce compliance.

The professionals can submit their feedback simply by filling out a Google Form. The form can be accessed at https://forms.gle/Phk6Rfrcuhdkph9G6. The due date to submit responses is March 17, 2026 (Tuesday).
