IFSCA Recruitment 2023:International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) invites applications from qualified Indian citizens for regular/contractual appointments for the Officer Grade A (Assistant Manager) position. As per IFSCA Recruitment 2023 notification Candidates who have Post Graduate Diploma in any field will be accepted as an educational qualification for the General stream, provided that it is recognized as equal to a Master’s Degree in that discipline by the Government of India. The maximum age required as per the official recruitment notification is 30 years. As per IFSCA Recruitment 2023 official notification there are 20 vacancies.
According to the IFSCA Recruitment 2023 notification, Candidates can apply On-Line through the official website from 11.02.2023 to 03.03.2023 and no other mode of application will be accepted. Candidates need not to submit the system-generated printout of the online application to IFSCA’s office. The list of shortlisted candidates shall be uploaded on the IFSCA website in the Third Week of March 2023 (tentatively) and interview will be held in the Fourth Week of March 2023 (Tentatively) through online mode (tentatively) (Complete details shall be displayed on IFSCA website)
As per the IFSCA Recruitment 2023, applications are invited for the Post of Assistant Manager Position from eligible candidates. There are a total of 20 vacancies available for the post as of now.
As per the IFSCA Recruitment 2023 Notification, the candidate’s age to be eligible to apply for the post shall be below 30 years as of 01.02.2023.
Candidates should have a Master’s Degree with specialization in Statistics/ Economics/ Commerce/Business Administration (Finance) /Business Administration (Finance)/Econometrics.or Business Administration (Finance) /Econometrics.
or
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology/ Computer Science/Master’s in Computer Application/Information Technology.
or
Bachelor’s degree in commerce with CA, CFA, CS, ICWA.or Bachelor’s degree in Law or in any other discipline from a recognized University.
As per the official IFSCA Recruitment 2023 notification Selected candidates will be paid a monthly salary of Rs. 44500-2500(4)-54500-2850(7)-74450-EB-2850(4)-85850-3300(1)-89150.
Presently, the gross emolument including IFSCA’s Contribution towards National Pension Scheme (NPS), Grade Allowance, Special Allowance, Dearness Allowance, Family Allowance, Local Allowance etc. at the minimum of this scale is approx. Rs. 1,43,000/- p.m.
According to the IFSCA Recruitment 2023: The mode of selection will be a three-stage procedure, including Phase I (online screening test consisting of two papers of 100 marks each), Phase II (online examination consisting of two papers of 100 marks each), and Phase III (interview) as follows:
A. Phase I On-Line Examination:
In March/April 2023, an online screening test with two papers (100-point multiple-choice questions) will be held (tentatively). The test will include the following sections:
(i) There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for Paper 1 and Paper 2 in Phase I.
(ii) There shall be a cut-off of a minimum of 30% for Paper 1 (no sectional cut-off shall be there) and a cut-off of a minimum of 40% for Paper 2 in Phase I.
(iii) Candidates would need to secure separate cut-offs in each paper as mentioned (ii) above and aggregate cut-off marks of 40% in the Phase I exam to be shortlisted for Phase II. Marks obtained in Phase I shall be used only for shortlisting the candidates for the Phase II examination process and will not be counted for the final selection of the candidates.
(iv) Subject to the criteria mentioned in (iii) above, all the candidates who clear Phase I shall be shortlisted for Phase II. The list of candidates shortlisted for Phase II will be made available on the IFSCA website.
B. Phase II On-Line Examination
(i) Candidates shortlisted for Phase II will be issued new Hall Tickets.
(ii) There shall be negative marking (1/4th of marks assigned to the question) for Paper 2 in Phase II
(iii) There shall be a cut-off of a minimum of 30% for Paper 1 and a minimum of 40% for Paper 2 in Phase II.
(iv) Candidates would need to secure separate cut-off in each paper as mentioned above and aggregate cut-off marks of 40% in the Phase II exam (weightage of 1/3rd for Paper 1 and 2/3rd for Paper 2) to be shortlisted for Phase III.
(v) Subject to the criteria mentioned above, candidates equaling 3 times the number of vacancies shall be shortlisted, in order of merit, for Phase III i.e. the Interview. A list of candidates shortlisted for Interviews will be made available on the IFSCA website.
C. Interview:
Only the shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview. The application fee shall not be refunded to the candidates not shortlisted for Phase II and Interview. The weightage of marks obtained in Phase II will be 85%, while marks obtained in the interview shall be given a weightage of 15%. IFSCA reserves the right to modify the selection procedure if deemed fit
