IIIT Recruitment 2022: IIT, Una, Himachal Pradesh under the Ministry of Education has invited applications from eligible and interested candidates for appointment to the post of Director of the Indian Institute of Information Technology in Public-Private Partnership mode (IIIT-PPP), Una for a period of five years or till the attainment of 70 years, whichever is earlier, as per usual terms and conditions. The post carries a fixed pay of Rs. 2,10,000 (Fixed) as per the 7th CPC plus a Special Allowance of Rs. 11,250 per month with allowances as admissible under the Rules of the Institute.

The Applicant should preferably be not more than 60 years of age. Interested individuals may apply to give detailed resumes in the format attached with the notification. Eligibility Conditions and Qualification for IIIT Una Recruitment 2022:

The Director of an IIIT, being the academic as well as administrative head, is expected to have a proven administrative, teaching, and research background (including significant experience in research guidance at the Ph. D level) with the leadership qualities to head an Institute of National Importance.

The candidate should be a Ph.D. in an appropriate branch with an outstanding academic record throughout and a minimum of 7 years experience as a Professor in a reputed Educational Institute (relaxable in the case of an outstanding candidate)

Period of Deputation for IIIT Una Recruitment 2022:

The appointment will be on a contractual basis for a period of five years or till the attainment of 70 years, whichever is earlier, as per usual terms and conditions.
