IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023: Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Jammu invites applicants for Various posts on a Direct Recruitment basis. As mentioned in the official notification of IIT Recruitment 2023, there are 16 vacancies for the given post. In accordance with the official notification of IIT Recruitment 2023, applicants will be paid a monthly salary ranging between Rs.29200 to Rs.218200.
According to the official notification of IIT Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit range between 33 years to 55 years. As given in the official notification of IIT Recruitment 2023, candidates need to pay a Non-Refundable Application Fee of Rs. 1000 for Group A’ and Rs. 500 for Group ‘B’ and ‘C’. Candidates belonging to SC/ST, PwD category, and women candidates have to pay a non-refundable amount of Rs.200 towards the processing fee. Age Limit for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023:
According to the official notification of IIT Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit range between 33 years to 55 years.

Registrar post the maximum age limit is 55 years.
Senior Scientific Officer post the maximum age limit is 50 years.
The maximum age limit is the Scientific Officer, Assistant Registrar, and Technical Officer post is 45 years.
Assistant Engineer post the maximum age limit is 40 years.
Junior Section Officer and Laboratory Officer post the maximum age limit is 35 years.
Senior Assistant post the maximum age limit is 33 years.
Eligibility for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023:
Candidates applying for the IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023 must fit in the following eligibility.
Scientific Officer
M. Tech (Computer Science & Engg./Computer Science/Electronics Comm./Electronics Telecomm. Or equivalent) Degree with at least 60% marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed and 5 years of experience as a System Administrator or an equivalent post.
B. Tech (Computer Science & Engg./Computer Science/Electronics Comm./Electronics Telecomm. Or equivalent) Degree with at least 60% of the marks or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed. and 8 years of experience as System Administrator or an equivalent post.
One industry certification like CCNA/RHCA/ Azure Administrator Associate or equivalent is essential.
Technical Officer
M. Tech Degree in CS Engineering or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with two years of relevant experience.
Master’s Degree in Science/Computer Science or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute with four years of relevant experience.
Bachelor’s Degree (four years) or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University / Institute with five years of relevant experience.
Three years Diploma in Engineering or equivalent in the appropriate field (after 10+2) with a minimum of 60% marks in the qualifying degree from a recognized University/ Institute and six years relevant experience.
Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint or equivalent is a must.
Senior Assistant
Master’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks and above and 01-year experience as Junior Assistant or equivalent in the Pay Matrix Level 2 (Pre-revised PB:2 GP Rs.1900) and above in Central Govt./State Govt./ Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings.
Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline from a recognized university with 60% marks and above and 03 years’ experience as Junior Assistant or equivalent in the Pay Matrix Level 2 (Pre-revised PB:2 GP Rs.1900) and above in Central Govt./ State Govt./Autonomous Bodies/Public Sector Undertakings.
At least 01 years’ experience in handling computerized administration / financial matters.
Desirable
Preference will be given to those with at least 60% marks in all boards/university examinations.
Proficiency in the use of a variety of computer office applications, M.S Word, Excel, Powerpoint or equivalent is a must.

Salary for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023:
In accordance with the official notification of IIT Recruitment 2023, applicants will be paid a monthly salary ranging between Rs.29200 to Rs.218200.

For the Senior Scientific Officer post applicants will get a monthly salary of Rs.78800 to Rs.209200
For the Scientific Officer post applicants will get a monthly salary of Rs.67700 to Rs.208700
For the Assistant Registrar and Technical Officer post applicants will get a monthly salary of Rs.56100 to Rs.177500
For the Assistant Engineer post applicants will get a monthly salary of Rs.47600 to Rs.151100

Selection Procedure for IIT Jammu Recruitment 2023:
As mentioned in the official notification of IIT Recruitment 2023, candidates need to qualify for marks for the Written Test/Proficiency Test/Computer Test/Interview will be as per the standard fixed by the Institute at its discretion (Relaxation/Concession to SC/ST/OBC (Non-creamy layer) candidates may be given as per GOI’s rules). Only the candidates who will qualify for the Written Test will be called for the Proficiency Test/ Computer Test/Interview of the selection process.
