Post Name and Vacancies for IIT Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of IIT recruitment 2023, the vacancy is open for  the post of Junior Laboratory Assistant under various technical. There are a total of 17 vacancies for the given post.

Age Limit for IIT Recruitment 2023:

As given in the official notification of IIT recruitment 2023, for direct recruitment posts, the upper age limit shall be relaxable up to 50 years of age in respect of the persons who has rendered minimum of three years service / deployment at IIT Mandi on contract/ outsourced/ adhoc/ temporary/ projects and who are educationally qualified. Such candidates need to submit the experience certificate of their rendered services at IIT Mandi.

Applicable relaxation for reserved category candidates is applicable only if the post is reserved for a particular category, 5 years for SC/ST and 3 years for OBC. Age relaxation to PwD candidates & Ex-servicemen are as per rules. For regular employees of IITs who are educationally qualified can be considered for direct recruitment across the whole IIT system up to a maximum of 50 years of age.

Qualification for IIT Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for IIT recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualification-

Junior Laboratory Assistant (Technical) School of Humanities & Social Sciences-

• Graduation Degree (Min 55% marks) in relevant areas (preferably in English or foreign languages, Statistics, Computer Applications, etc.) from a recognized university.
• 2 years working experience (preferably, in positions requiring office management).
• Knowledge of computer office applications, emailing, etc. (preferably knowledge of operating and maintaining computer peripherals.)

Junior Laboratory Assistant (Technical) School of Civil & Environmental Engineering-

• First class diploma in Civil Engineering discipline of 3 years duration from a recognized Polytechnic/Institute.
• 2 years working experience in conducting Civil labs.
• Knowledge of computer office applications
• Hands on field experience on relevant instrument used in Civil Engineering

Junior Laboratory Assistant (Technical) NKN-

• B.Tech (CS/IT)/MCA/, M.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent degree in relevant disciplines mentioned with a year experience. OR
• First class diploma in Computer Science with three years duration/BCA with 2 years
  experience

Junior Laboratory Assistant (Technical) PC Labs-

• BTech (CS/IT)/MCA/, MSc. Computer Science or equivalent degree or higher in disciplines mentioned with a year experience. OR
• First class diploma in Computer Science with three years duration/BCA with 2 years experience.
