Important Information for Class 11 Students Regarding Enrollment in Class 12th

Important Information for Class 11: Important details about the enrollment of 11th grade students for the 2023–24 academic session and 12th grade students for the 2024–25 academic session in all of the state’s degree colleges-whether they are constituent, affiliated, or minority-are provided.

It is officially announced that students enrolled in degree colleges for the 2023–2024 academic year who are in class 11 would be accepted to class 12 for the 2024–2025 academic year, per letter no. 09/Miscellaneous-07/2024 282 dated 09.03.2024 of the Education Department, Bihar. Guidelines for managing enrollment in the state’s upper secondary schools have been provided.

In compliance with the Education Department’s directive, the Bihar School Examination Committee, Patna, has issued notification No. PR 114/2024 to 11th grade students enrolled in degree colleges (constituent, affiliated, minority) for the 2023–2024 academic year. On the OFSS website, students can fill out online options for class 12 enrollment in any other higher secondary school that suits them best.

Once more, the students enrolled in class 11 at the state’s degree institutions have expressed their desire to enroll in class 12 at their own college, as communicated by the committee’s release number, PR 118/2024. They will only be able to select their college via the OFSS on the www.ofssbihar.in website; they will not be able to enroll in any other college. That is to say, 11th grade students enrolled in state degree institutions may choose to enroll exclusively in their college for class 12 if they so choose; they are not permitted to enroll in any other college.

Based on the information, the students, parents, principals of constituent, connected, and minority degree colleges, principals of all higher secondary schools, and district education officers are informed that the session in the degree colleges of the state From date- 21.03.2024 to the students studying in class 11th in 2023-24.

If 11th grade college students wish to enroll in their own college for the 12th grade, they must complete out the college option exclusively on the OFSS website, www.ofssbihar.in. After that, they can enroll in any other college. That is to say, 11th grade students enrolled in state degree institutions may choose to enroll exclusively in their college for class 12 if they so choose; they are not permitted to enroll in any other college.

People do not need to take any additional enrollment-related steps if they choose to complete their 12th class studies in the same degree college where they completed their 11th class studies. In other words, they will enroll in class 12 in the 2024–2025 session at the same degree college will be taken into account in accordance with his enrollment and academic standing in class 11 during the 2023–2024 session.
