The Income Tax raids are ongoing at different premises of some land dealers in Jharkhand and West Bengal over alleged tax evasion on October 30.
On Monday morning, the IT raids started at 5 a.m. Income Tax officials have started raiding the residences and establishments of more than six land traders of Deoghar and Jasidih.
According to the sources, whose houses are allegedly being raided are famous personalities in Jharkhand and West Bengal.
In Kolkata, Income Tax officials are conducting raids as well.
Sources added that these people have some connection with the land.
