According to the official notification of Income Tax recruitment 2023, the vacancy is open for the posts of Inspector of Income Tax, Tax Assistant, and Multi-Tasking Staff. Age Limit for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

As mentioned in the official notification of Income Tax recruitment 2023, the age limit is given below-

For Income Tax- The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 30 years.

For Tax Assistant- The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 27 years.

For Multi-Tasking Staff- The minimum age limit is 18 years and the maximum is 25 years.

In addition to the relaxation of 3 & 5 years available for OBC & SC/ST categories respectively, a special relaxation in age limit is allowed in accordance with DOPT 0m No. 2/3/84-Estt(D) dated 12.11.1987 to a maximum of 05 years for all categories of Sports Persons including General/Unreserved category.

Qualification for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

Candidates applying for Income Tax recruitment 2023 must have the given below qualifications-

For Income Tax- 

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognized university or equivalent.

For Tax Assistant- 

• Bachelor’s Degree from a recognised university or equivalent.
• Having a Data Entry Speed of 8000 Key Depressions per hour.

For Multi-Tasking Staff- 

Matriculation Examination or equivalent from a recognized Board.

Salary for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

In accordance with the official notification of Income Tax recruitment 2023, the selected candidates will be given a monthly salary as given below-

For Income Tax- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in Pay Level-7 of Pay Matrix (pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.4600 in PB-2 of Rs.9300-34800.

For Tax Assistant- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in Pay Level-4 of Pay Matrix (pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.2400 in PB-I of Rs.5200-20200)

For Multi-Tasking Staff- The selected candidates will be given a monthly salary in Pay Level-1 of Pay Matrix (pre-revised Grade Pay of Rs.1800 in PB-I of Rs.5200-20200.

Selection Procedure for Income Tax Recruitment 2023:

The applications shall be scrutinized, and eligible candidates shall be shortlisted on the basis of the evaluation of their performances in the last three years (i.e. 2019 to 2021), age, and highest achievement in their career in respective sports events. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an appearance before the Committee for verification of the relevant original documents submitted by them along with their applications.
