For Science Subjects-

• The applicants should have passed the Intermediate/10+2/Equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
• Candidates should have passed Three years of Diploma Courses in Engineering (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Automobile / Computer Science / Instrumentation Technology / Information Technology) from Central, State and UT recognized Polytechnic institutes with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Diploma Course (or in Intermediate/Matriculation if English is not a subject in Diploma Course). OR
• Candidates should have passed Two years of Vocational Courses with non-vocational subjects viz. Physics and Mathematics from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation, if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

For Other than Science Subjects-

• The applicants should have passed the Intermediate / 10+2 / Equivalent Examination in any stream/subject from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English. OR
• Candidate should have passed two years of Vocational Course from Education Boards recognized by Central, State and UT with minimum 50% marks in aggregate and 50% marks in English in Vocational Course (or in Intermediate / Matriculation if English is not a subject in Vocational Course).

Salary for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2024:

Tenure for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2024: 

As mentioned in the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2024, the tenure of the candidates will be appointed for a period of 04 years.

Mode of Selection for Indian Air Force Recruitment 2024: 

According to the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2024, the applicant’s selection will be based on an Online Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT), Adaptability Test and Medical Examination. The candidates will be intimated later to the shortlisted candidates by issuing their admit cards. The result of the Phase-I (Online) Test, a cut-off will be applied on the normalized marks scored by the candidates in the Phase-I Test and SHORTLISTED candidates will be sent a New admit card on their registered e-mail ID for the Phase-II test at a designated ASC.

• Physical Fitness Test (PFT)– Names of the shortlisted candidates, who qualify for the online test, shall be displayed on the CASB Web Portal and on a stipulated date shall be called at designated ASC for Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Adaptability Test-II. PFT consists of two parts, PFT-I and PFT-II. The shortlisted candidates will be called for the Physical Fitness Test (PFT).
• Adaptability Test-II- All candidates who pass Physical Fitness Test will have to undertake Adaptability Test-II as per policy in vogue. Adaptability Test-II is for the selection of candidates who can adapt to the environment of the Indian Air Force and are able to adjust to the military way of life.
• Medical Examination- Candidates who qualify for Adaptability Test-II shall be issued with a medical appointment letter at their respective ASCs. The medical examination shall be conducted by the Air Force Medical Team as per IAF medical standards and policy in vogue on the subject issue.

Based on the official notification of Indian Air Force Recruitment 2024, the applicants applying for the post have to deposit an application fee of Rs.500 plus GST. The application fee will be paid online through Debit Cards/ Credit Cards/Internet Banking through the payment gateway.
