Indian Bank Recruitment 2025: Indian Bank is looking for bright, experienced, and hard-working candidates for the post of Internal Ombudsman on a contract basis. The chosen candidates will get a negotiable remuneration. The appointment is made for a period of 03 years. Further, the Internal Ombudsman shall not be eligible for reappointment or for extension of the term in the same bank. The place of posting will be Chennai. Candidate should have a maximum age of 65 years (inclusive of all relaxations) to apply for the mentioned post.

In order to be eligible for Indian Bank Recruitment 2025, the applicant should have completed their Graduation in any discipline. The selection of the candidates will be determined on the basis of an interview. The shortlisted candidates will be called for an interview by the Selection Committee. Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories have to pay Rs.100 (inclusive of GST) and all other categories have to pay Rs.1000 (inclusive of GST) as an application fee. The fees/charges will be paid in the account through Internet Banking/NEFT/RTGS. As per the official notification of Indian Bank Recruitment 2025, desirous and willing candidates have to submit their application in the prescribed format along with the supporting documents to the address given below in the article on or before the due date. Age Limit for Indian Bank Recruitment 2025:

The maximum age limit is 65 years (inclusive of all relaxations) as on 01.12.2024 to apply for Indian Bank Recruitment 2025.

Qualification and Experience for Indian Bank Recruitment 2025:

The candidates must have the required qualifications and experience as described below for applying to Indian Bank Recruitment 2025.

  • The candidate should have a Graduation Degree in any discipline.

Experience-

  • The Internal Ombudsman shall either be a retired or serving officer, in the rank equivalent to a General Manager of another bank/Financial Sector Regulatory Body/NBSP/NBFC/CIC, having necessary skills and experience of a minimum 07 years of working in areas such as banking, non-banking finance, regulation, supervision, payment and settlement systems, credit information or consumer protection.
  • The Internal Ombudsman shall not have previously worked/be working in Indian Bank/Erstwhile Allahabad Bank or any related parties of the Bank.

Tenure for Indian Bank Recruitment 2025:

The engagement of Indian Bank Recruitment 2025 is made on a contract basis and the chosen candidates will be engaged for a period of 03 years. Further, the Internal Ombudsman shall not be eligible for reappointment or for extension of term in the same bank.

Selection Process for Indian Bank Recruitment 2025:

According to the official notification of Indian Bank Recruitment 2025, The selection process for the Internal Ombudsman position will consist of two main steps:

  • Application Scrutiny for Interview: The selection of applicants will comprise of Scrutiny of applications by the Screening Committee followed by an Interview of shortlisted candidates by the Selection Committee.
  • Other Process: In case no of applicants is substantially large, a Written Test / Group Discussion / Preliminary interview process or a combination of the aforementioned eligible/suitable candidates may be adopted.
