For Store Keeper Grade-I-

• Person serving under the Central Government:
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR Holding the posts carrying Pay Level 2 in the Pay Matrix with six years regular service in the grade.
• Experience- Candidate must have 03 years experience in handling of Stores and keeping accounts in a store in any recognized firm or Central or State Government Organization or Public Sector Undertaking.

For Sarang Lascar-

• Person serving under the Central or State Government:
• Holding analogous posts on regular basis OR Holding the posts carrying Pay Level 1 in the Pay Matrix with eight years regular service in the grade.
• Qualifications- Certificate of competency as Sarang from a recognized Government Institute or equivalent.
• Desirable- Candidate must have 02 years experience as Sarang incharge of a Vessel of twenty Horse Power.

Age Limit for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023: 

In accordance with the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the maximum age limit is 56 years.

Tenure for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023: 

As mentioned in the official notification of Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2023, the period of deputation including period of deputation in another ex-cadre post held immediately preceding this appointment in the same or some other organization/department of the Central Government shall ordinarily not exceed three years.
