Other members of the authority include the Joint Secretaries from the Ministry of Home Affairs, the Department of Financial Services (Ministry of Finance), Ministry of Information and Broadcasting, Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports, and the Department of Legal Affairs (Ministry of Law and Justice). The Authority will verify if online games follow the law and stop any illegal or unsafe activities. It introduces steps like age verification and parental control to protect the children from gaming addiction, financial loss, or harmful content.
