Indian Navy Recruitment 2024: The Indian Navy is seeking applications from eligible Male and Female Candidates for the grant of Short Service Commission (SSC) in Information Technology (Executive Branch) of the Indian Navy under the Special Naval Orientation Course for a course commencing Jun 2025 onwards at Indian Naval Academy (INA) Ezhimala, Kerala. There are a total of 15 seats open for the aforementioned role. Candidates will be selected for the SSC Executive IT post on the basis of educational qualification, SSB interview, medical examination and verification processes. The final merit list is prepared on the basis of candidates’ performance in the SSB Interview.
As mentioned in the official notification of Indian Navy Recruitment 2024, Selected candidates will be appointed initially for 10 years extendable by a maximum of 04 years in 02 terms (02 years + 02 years), subject to service requirements, performance, medical eligibility, and willingness of candidates. The applicants will receive the basic pay of a Sub Lieutenant starting from Rs 56,100 along with other allowances as applicable. The appointment of chosen candidates will be for the duration of 10 years extendable by a maximum of 04 years in 02 terms (02 years + 02 years), subject to service requirements, performance, medical eligibility and willingness of candidates, as per the official notification of Indian Navy Recruitment 2024.
