Instructions to Candidates for SPOT Admission to CUSAT B.Tech Lateral Entry Programs 2022–23

The Cochin University of Science and Technology will conduct SPOT admission for the open seats in its B.Tech Lateral Entry Programs online, and registration will begin on October 19, 2022. Candidates who made the university’s published rank list for admission to the aforementioned programs can register for SPOT admission via the link available on their login page. The registered candidates will be contacted for an online meeting in the order of their rank, and their eligibility will be taken into consideration for admission to the open seats. To the registered email addresses of the candidates, the meeting information, including the timetable and meeting link, will be delivered.

Candidates who are called for the online meeting but do not log in and show up during the scheduled time will not be taken into consideration for admittance to the specific spot. Candidates must pay the required fee on the candidate’s home page the same day if they are awarded a spot. If this isn’t done, the allocation will be canceled, and they won’t be able to enroll in the program’s future spot admission.

The SPOT admission for SC/ST candidates will also take place at the same time. Visit the university’s admissions page at http://admissions.cusat.ac.in for further information.
