IOCL Recruitment 2022: Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL) has invited applications for the engagement of Apprentices in the various Trades/Disciplines at its Refineries under the Apprentices Act, 1961/1973 (as amended). The rate of stipend payable to apprentices per month shall be as prescribed under the Apprentices Act and  Apprentices shall be covered under suitable Accident Insurance Coverage.

Minimum 18 years and maximum age shall be 24 years as of 30-09-2022 for General/EWS candidates. Candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria for a trade/discipline may visit the website www.iocl.com. Qualification :for IOCL Recruitment 2022:
1. The prescribed qualification for Class XII / Graduate / Diploma holders should be from a recognized Board/ University/Institute as a regular full-time course in the relevant trade/discipline with a minimum of 50% marks (45% for SC/ST and PwBD category candidates for the seats reserved for them) in aggregate.

2. For ITI qualification in the relevant trade, eligibility shall be passing marks.

3. Diploma / Graduation/ ITI in Branch / Subjects as specified against respective Trade/ Discipline above will ONLY  be considered as eligible qualification. Diploma / Graduation/ ITI in other than specified Branch / Subjects shall not be considered

Age- limit for IOCL Recruitment 2022:

The minimum of 18 years and the maximum age shall be 24 years.

Selection Methodology for IOCL Recruitment 2022:

1. Selection shall be on the basis of the performance of the candidates on the basis of marks obtained by them in the Written Test (of two ho s  duration) and meeting the notified eligibility criteria.

2. In case of a tie (two or more) of marks in the written test, the date of birth (senior by age) shall be the factor to be considered (in that order only) to place a candidate’s rank in the merit list.

3. Call letters for Written tests will be issued to all prima-facie eligible candidates, on the basis of details furnished in the On-line Application.

4. Written Tests will be conducted with Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) consisting of four options with one correct option.

5. A candidate will have to secure a minimum of 40% marks in Written Test for qualifying the selection process. The minimum qualifying marks shall be 35% for candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwBD categories against reserved positions.
