Most people now receive the surplus amount within 7 to 20 days, as the Income Tax Department has made the refund process faster over the last few years. But, it comes with the condition that there should not be any mistakes in the filed returns. The taxpayers should immediately verify the return through Aadhar OTP or other avaialable option.
