JEE Advanced 2024: The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras ended JEE Advanced 2024 on 26.05.2024 at 05:30 PM. This is a single-day exam. Over 1.91 Lakh candidates registered for JEE Advanced this year Breaking the Last 11 Years’ Record. Around 17000 B.Tech seats are offered by 23 IITs. The exam will be conducted in 02 Papers. The duration of both papers is 06 hours. Paper 1 was started from 09:00 AM to 12:00 Noon and Paper 2 was started from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM.

The exam for JEE Advanced 2024 has successfully completed. The JEE Advanced 2024 is a single-day exam divided into 02 papers. The duration of both papers was 06 hours. The timings of both papers are mentioned below-

Exam Analysis of JEE Advanced 2024:

The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has completed the JEE Advanced 2024 exam on 26.05.2024 at 09:00 AM. Paper 1 and Paper 2 are over now. The exam analysis and student responses for Paper 1 and Paper 2 of JEE Advanced 2024 are available here. The overall difficulty level for Paper I of JEE Advanced 2024 ranged from moderate to tough and the difficulty level of JEE Advanced 2024 Paper 2 was similar to Paper 1. As per the responses of the students Physics was the toughest even in Paper 2.

Mathematics-

  • Paper 1- Mathematics faired well between easy-to-moderate questions coming from Statistics, Definite Integrals and Functions. It covered some good questions from Permutation and Combination, 3-D Geometry and Circles with certain questions being lengthy.
  • Paper 2- At the same time, Mathematics ranged from lengthy to moderate with questions coming from Integral, Trigonometry, vector and 3D.

Chemistry-

  • Paper 1- In Chemistry a lot of questions came from Organic Chemistry. Apart from this, Inorganic Chemistry had direct questions from NCERT and in Physical Chemistry questions came from Thermodynamics, Chemical Equilibrium, Chemical Kinetics and Atomic Structure. Organic Chemistry tested candidates on mixed concepts. Most questions were asked from Amines, Polymers and Biomolecules.
  • Paper 2- In Chemistry, questions were asked about Thermodynamics, Kinetics and Metallurgy. The questions from Organic Chemistry were very direct.

Physics-

  • Paper 1- As compared to other subjects, Physics was the toughest with emphasis on Electrostatics, Modern Physics, Kinematics, Modern Physics and Optics.
  • Paper 2- Physics on the other hand was the toughest among the two with maximum questions being asked from Kinematics and Electromagnetism. Among all the topics, questions from Modern Physics were the toughest in the section.
