JEE Advanced Result 2024 Live Updates: Check Date, Time and Previous 2 Years Cut-Offs

JEE Advanced Result 2024: The Joint Entrance Examination Advanced (JEE Advanced) 2024 was organised by the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) on May 26, 2024, in various exam cities. The examination was conducted in two papers, first from 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM and the 2nd from 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM. In total the JEE Advance Exam was of 360 marks, each paper holding 180 marks and the paper was completely MCQ based.

Paper 1st was considered more difficult as compared to paper 2nd. From this, students accessed the Physics section in Paper 1 and the Maths section in Paper 2 much harder as compared to the other sections. The Chemistry paper overall was assumed moderately difficult. As per the feedback from the students who attended the JEE Advanced Exam this year, overall the JEE Advanced Exam 2024 was moderate to difficult. As per the reports, most of the topics in the exam were covered by NCERT.

The Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IIT Madras) will release the JEE Advanced Result 2024 on June 9, 2024. Marks secured by the candidates in JEE Advance 2024 will be considered as the core base for getting admission to IITs. The IITs will offer 4-year BTech, Bachelor of Science (BS), and five-year BArch, dual degree BTech-MTech, dual degree BS-MS, integrated MTech, Integrated MSc courses etc.

The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) will organise a total of six rounds of counselling rounds for JoSAA for admission into the IITs, NITs, IIITs, and GFTIs. The authority will release the JEE Advanced cut-off 2024 for each round separately. The JEE Advanced Response Sheet 2024 will be made available on May 31, 2024, and the official JEE Advance Answer Key 2024 on June 2. Candidates will also be given a time of 2 days to raise objections regarding the JEE Advance Answer Key 2024, if any.
