JEE Main 2025: The National Testing Agency (NTA) closed the registration window for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025 exam on November 22, 2024. As per the recently released official notice, NTA will open the correction window for JEE Main 2025 for two days for candidates who this year registered for the exam to correct their mistakes in the application forms. The correction window has been made available at the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in, today November 26, 2024, and will close on November 27, 2024.

This year greatest number of candidates have registered for the JEE Main exam in comparison to previous years. Hence, this year NTA did not provide any extension to the registration window. Last year, approximately 12 lakh candidates registered for the JEE Main exam, but this year over 13 lakh candidates have registered for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) 2025.

No extension to the registration window has been given this year, but the candidates who for any reason missed the chance registrations can still appear for the JEE Main 2025 April examination. Registrations for the April examinations will commence in the month of February 2025. The candidates who have successfully registered have been given two days time to correct their mistakes in the application forms (If any) through the correction window. Candidates will be required to pay the same amount of fee to make each change. Request to make any changes into the application form will only be considered when the fee is submitted.

JEE Main 2025: Exam Details

The JEE Mains is a national-level entrance test, organised every year to provide students admission into the Indian Institutes of Technology or IITs. The JEE Main 2025 examination will be conducted in 13 languages including English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu. The question paper for JEE Mains will be conducted in Computer Based Test (CBT) mode and will consist of 75 questions for 300 marks. Section A will comprise 60 multiple-choice questions (MCQs), and Section B will include 15 questions. The total duration of the exam will be three hours. JEE Main 2025 January examination will commence on 22nd January and will end on 31st January 2025.
