JEE Mains 2024: NTA Takes strict action against 39 candidates on account of using unfair means
JEE Mains 2024: The National Testing Agency conducted the Joint Entrance Examination (Main) – 2024 in two Sessions i.e. Session 1 (January 2024) and Session 2 (April 2024). Around 22 lakh candidates appeared in the JEE Mains 2024 exam. The result of Paper 1 (B.E. / B.Tech.) was announced on 24 April 2024. The NTA Scores for Paper 2A (B.Arch.) and 2B (B.Planning) for the JEE (Main)-2024 will be declared soon. After the declaration of the result of the JEE (Main) – 2024, there have been some issues raised by the candidates regarding not displaying their Scorecard, etc.
The public announcements and the JEE (Main) – 2024 Information Bulletin have made this information known by indicating that “Multiple Application Forms submitted by a candidate will not be accepted and will lead to cancellation of his/her result.” Strict action will be taken against any candidate who has multiple Application Numbers (or multiple Score Cards), even if discovered later. Such candidates will be treated as UFM. A candidate cannot receive two Scorecards for the same exam in a year under different application numbers, according to the Court’s Decision. In light of this, the highest scores of any applicants who made multiple appearances with separate application numbers have been listed in the Scorecard.
