Essential Qualifications and Experience for JIPMER Recruitment 2024:

For Assistant Professor of Paediatrics-

• A medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II of the third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act).
• A Postgraduate qualification i.e., M.D. in Paediatrics or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience–

• The candidate should have 03 years’ teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institution in Paediatrics after obtaining the qualifying degree of M.D. in Paediatrics or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

For Assistant Professor of Urology-

• A medical qualification included in the first or second Schedule or Part II of the third Schedule to the Indian Medical Council Act of 1956 (persons possessing qualifications included in part II or third schedule should also fulfill the conditions specified in Section13 (3) of the Act).
• The candidate should have M.Ch in Urology (two years or three years or five years recognized course) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto.

Experience-

• The candidate should have M.Ch Urology (Three years) or a recognized qualification equivalent thereto (no experience required) or M.Ch Urology (Two years/Five years) with one year teaching and/or research experience in a recognized institutions/universities after obtaining M.Ch Urology(Two years/Five years).

In accordance with the official notification of JIPMER Recruitment 2024, the candidate should have to deposit an application fee of Rs.500. The fee payment must be paid through SBI Collect and the e-receipt generated has to be submitted along with the application on the date of Walk-In interview.
