The Ideal Candidate should have:

Knowledge of hardware: Palo Alto Networks, Juniper, Dell, Meraki, Cisco.

An experience in modern data center design concepts

Providing insights on the best suited solutions or products, software updates.

Planning the budget and providing recommendations on various tools, equipment and software purchases.

Eligibility:

Set up a network monitoring system from scratch  and manage the whole network monitoring system.

Hands on experience working with various monitoring tools like solaris, thousand eyes, cisco, open source tools.

Scripting using python/shell scripting/ansible

Familiar with SNMP and telematics

Experience in setting up network authentication systems.

Set up a network analytics system to monitor the performance of the network and usage

Review the data and provide insights on improving the overall network systems.

Knowledge of routing, switching and network security.

Knowledge of UDP, TCP, IPv4/IPv6 and common network protocols and operations.

Managing inventory of various networking products and equipment

Maintaining records of software and hardware lifecycle

Ability to participate in multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize effectively.

Team player, resourceful, able to work under pressure and on call after hours.

Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MIS or equivalent work experience

4 years or more experience in network or similar technology fields and exposure working in network analytics.
