Goldman Sachs is hiring an experienced Controllers – Regulatory Reporting – Senior Analyst at their Bangalore location. The Regulatory Reporting team sits within the Controllers department, Finance division. This is a very high profile team involved in a wide range of areas/issues and involves interaction with many other areas of the Firm.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

Production of PRA and Fed Regulatory Capital computation/reporting.

Calculating and analysing of daily regulatory capital requirement under Basel III rule sets with a particular focus on Credit Risk.

Investigation of issues and exceptions with various divisions of the firm.

Collation, analysis & delivery of quarterly/semi-annual return/COREP returns and internal monthly capital reports.

Submission of returns in an accurate & timely manner at varying frequencies, as stipulated by the regulator.

Ad-hoc requests from senior management, regulator and other teams.

Data quality review to identify areas of capital savings.

Cross divisional collaborate (Credit, Technology, Regulatory policy, Corporate treasury, Legal entity/Product controllers, etc.).

Assist with reporting process changes following new regulatory reporting requirements.

Ensure application of a robust control environment by performing key checks and controls proving data completeness and consistency across and between outputs.

Qualifications for this Job:

Under graduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance.

Chartered Accountancy is Preferred Accounting, Economics or Finance degree preferred, but not required.

Strong analytical / interpersonal skills and a high proficiency with Microsoft software applications.

Teamwork and collaboration-oriented, with the ability to work independently.

Must demonstrate considerable energy, focus, drive, and a sense of urgency.

Ability to manage multiple tasks, operate within deadlines, and escalate when appropriate.
