Eaton is hiring an experienced Systems Engineer – xEV at their Hadapsar Pune location.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Responsible for automated transmissions for electric commercial vehicles. The role will be part of product development & maintaining the systems life cycle for Automated transmissions.
• Incumbent being a member of the System Engineering team is responsible to derive system requirements from customer requirements and supporting systems engineering work packages for multiple new product development projects.
• The role contributes towards the engineering work package for the stage-gate gate process.

Eligibility:

• Master’s in electrical / Electronics / Mechatronics engineering
• 1 ~ 2 years of experience in Embedded Systems Development, preferably Automotive
• Systems Engineering processes, Agile software development exposure, requirements engineering for Mechatronics / Embedded products
• Work & interact with the global cross-functional and cross-cultural team. Excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to communicate to internal/external customers and suppliers.
• Execute the system engineering work packages for the assigned projects
• Analyze the requirements, and verify past CR and validation updates to ensure the requirements are up to date for current development projects
• Import requirements into IBM Jazz, create requirement items and define system interfaces with system elements
• Closely work with Scrum master and technical lead in executing assigned PR / CR for requirement life-cycle management
• Collaborates with validation teams to build test cases and write test procedures.
• Learn and deploy DFSS elements such as Boundary Diagram and Parameter Diagram and contributed to System / Sub-system DFMEAs
• Learn the deploy good requirement writing skills, creatively make analogical connections between example systems
• Working with MATLAB/Simulink models
• Analyze modules written using Embedded C
