Overview:

Invesco is seeking for a Trainee for their Hyderabad location, who can innovate, operate effectively, challenge the status quo and is driven to succeed. This program moves candidate through multiple teams, giving real-world experience by working closely with stakeholders across globe; it will be a combination of on-the-job training, mentoring and exposure, besides classroom training sessions.

Roles and responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should be able to:

• Work directly with the global business partners and stakeholders
• Understand People, Process and Technology associated with group and its objectives
• Manage finance and accounting process related deliverables and/or projects independently and assume additional responsibilities as a member of the team
• Ideate and drive solutions to improve group and process effectiveness
• Develops a detailed understanding of the Finance and Accounting processes, and financial and regulatory reporting requirements
• Coordinate, organize and prioritize operations or projects with a special focus on results.
• Builds long-term working relationships through excellent communication
• Works with internal & external stakeholders globally
• Continuously learn, train and document procedures

The ideal candidate should also have:

• Strong research, analytical and creative problem-solving skills required, including a thorough understanding of how to analyze and interpret quantitative and qualitative information
• Prior experience in financial services domain is preferred
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Must be adept in all Microsoft Office programs, with a special emphasis in Excel and PowerPoint
• Exposure to ERP footprint, Data visualization and Automation tools is preferred

Eligibility:

• MBA in Finance, Associate Chartered Accountant, Certified Public Accountant, Certified Management Accountant preferred
• Bachelor in Commerce or similar advanced degree from a top tier educational is mandatory
