Overview:

Puma Energy is hiring an experienced Credit Analyst at their Mumbai location. You will analyse financial statements to determine the degree of risk involved in extending credit to clients and submit recommendation to the members of the Credit committee.

The complete details of this job are as follows:

What will you be doing:

• Manage and monitor the credit portfolio by carrying out annual reviews, NEWS based reviews, reviewing payment track record, securities and other parameters
• Chair local credit committee (LCC) meetings on a weekly basis
• Follow-up on customer collections with commercial team, collecting agencies and legal department and escalate where required
• Consult with customers to resolve queries and verify that transactions in line with the country and the region
• Prepare reports as required, for the C&C committee meetings.
• Carry out bad debt provisions on a monthly basis.

Qualifications for this Job:

• MBA (Finance), CA, CFA or equivalent
• Business orientated with experience in Oil Downstream industry is a plus
• Minimum 4 years’ experience as a credit analyst
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex information
• Microsoft Office proficient
• Self-starter
• Ability to multitask
