Required Qualifications for Kamdhenu University Recruitment 2024:

For Principal –

• The candidate should have Master’s Degree with atleast 55% marks (or an equivalent grade in a point scale wherever grading system is followed) in concerned / relevant faculty/discipline by a recognised University.
• The candidate should have a Ph.D. Degree in concerned / relevant faculty/discipline in the institution concerned with evidence of published work and research guidance.
• The candidate should have an Associate Professor/Professor with a total experience of fifteen years of teaching/research/administration in Universities, Colleges and other institutions of higher education.
• A minimum score as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on ICAR regulation/UGC’s regulation on minimum qualifications for appointment of teachers and other academic staff in universities and colleges and measures for the maintenance of standards in higher education-2010.

Desirable-

• The candidate should have good knowledge of the educational system prevalent at the National and International level and familiarity with modern concept of organisation and co-ordination of Teaching, Research and Extension Education activities.

For Professor Research Scientist / Extension Educationist and its equivalent (Veterinary Science)-

• An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
• The candidate should have a minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university/ college, and/or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
• Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching-learning process.
• A minimum score as stipulated as stipulated in the Academic Performance Indicator (API) based on ICAR Regulations/ UGC Regulations.
• The candidate should be a member of State Veterinary Council or Veterinary Council of India.

For Associate Director of Research (Dairy/ Fisheries)-

• An eminent scholar with Ph.D. qualification(s) in the concerned/relevant discipline and published work of high quality, actively engaged in research with evidence of published work with a minimum of 10 publications as books and/or research/policy papers.
• A minimum of 10 years of teaching experience in university/ college, and/or experience in research at the University/ National level institutions/industries, including experience of guiding candidates for research at doctoral level.
• Contribution to educational innovation, design of new curricula and courses, and technology – mediated teaching-learning process.
