Karnataka SSLC Result 2023: 4 Students Scored Perfect 100%, Check Toppers List, Result Trends
Karnataka SSLC Result 2023: The Karnataka School Examinations and Assessments Board (KSEAB) declared the result for the Karnataka SSLC, also known as Karnataka Class 10th, 2023 today, 8th May. The Board declared the result on its official website followed by the press conference that started at 10 am. The result link was activated on the official website for students at around 11 am. The KSEAB chairman R Ramachandra, Director Exam H Gopalkrishna, and Principal Secretary of the Department Ritesh Singh announced the result during the press conference. Along with the result, the Board also released important stats regarding the Karnataka SSLC result 2023.
The result has been declared through a press conference that started at 10 am. The overall pass percentage for the Karnataka SSLC results for 2023 stands at 83.89%. The Karnataka SSLC pass percentage in 2023 is up by 12.09% as compared to 2019-20 but dropped as compared to 2022 (85.13%) due to an increase in the difficulty level of the exam. Chitradurga district performed the best by obtaining a pass percentage of 96.8% followed by Mandya (96.74%) and Hassan (96.68%).
As per the official announcement, a total of 4 students have scored a perfect 100% marks. The 4 students scored 625 out of 625 marks. The Karnataka SSLC (Class 10) exams were conducted from 30 March to 15 April 2023, throughout the state at various exam centres. More than 8 lakh students have appeared for the class 10th examination this year. The answer key was released on 17 April 2023. Now the KSEAB has declared the results through a press conference.
The number of students scoring 100% marks in the SSLC exam for 2023 decreased significantly when compared to the last year. This year 4 students have topped the Karnataka SSLC exam by scoring full marks in every subject. Last year, in 2022 a total of 145 students scored a perfect 100% marks. The significant decrease in full-mark scorers can be attributed to the fact that the exam was on the tougher side this year. The list of Karnataka SSLC Toppers 2023 is tabulated below:

Following the trend, this year too girls outperformed boys in the Karnataka SSLC results. Girls’ pass percentage is 7.79% more than that of boys. The girls’ pass percentage stands at 87.87% while the boys’ pass percentage is 80.08%. Students from rural areas performed better than their counterparts in the urban areas.
