Know what is SSC Combined Graduate Level Scheme of Examination 2022

SSC CGL Scheme of Examination 2022: SSC Combined Graduate Level (CGL) Examination has made some changes in the examination pattern. There are four tiers in the SSC CGL exam. Tier 1 and 2 are conducted in online mode, and Tier 3 and 4 are conducted in offline mode. Every tier has a different difficulty level and a distinct syllabus.

The Examination will be conducted in four tiers as indicated below:

  • Tier I – Computer-Based Examination
  • Tier II – Computer-Based Examination
  • Tier III – Pen and Paper Mode (Descriptive paper)
  • Tier IV – Computer Proficiency Test/ Skill Test (wherever applicable)/ Document Verification

SSC CGL Tier 1

  • The Tier 1 exam is conducted in online mode.
  • The question will be multiple choice in which four options will be provided.
  • The questions will be written in both Hindi and English.
  • The Tier 1 exam has 4 sections: Reasoning, General Awareness, Quantitative Aptitude & English Language.
  • Each section consists of 25 questions for 50 Marks each.

SSC CGL Tier 2

  • The Tier 2 exam is conducted in online mode.
  • The question will be multiple choice in which four options will be provided.
  • The questions will be written in both Hindi and English.
  • The Tier 2 exam has 4 Papers: Quantitative Abilities, English Language and Comprehension, Statistics & General Studies (Finance and Economics).
  • Paper 1, 3 and 4 consists of 100 questions for 200 marks each. Paper 2 consists of 200 questions for 200 marks in total.

SSC CGL Tier 3

  • The Tier 3 examination will be a subjective paper.
  • The questions will be either Hindi or English language.
  • The time duration will be 60minutes or 1 hour.
  • Candidates will have to attempt it in pen and paper mode.
  • The maximum marks for the paper will be 100.
  • The minimum qualifying mark for the paper will be 33.
