Kolkata Customs arrests 2 passengers at airport for smuggling gold worth Rs 66 Lakhs Customs officers stopped two travelers arriving from Dubai at Kolkata airport on 12.01.2022, Wednesday and confiscated 1.6 kg of gold paste valued around Rs 66 lakhs. The gold was hidden in the pockets of the passenger's jeans in paste form. Custom officials found the passengers suspicious and after search found 1.6 gold pastes worth Rs 66 Lakhs.  In a well planned operation 2 receivers were also caught from Arrival gate by the officials. https://twitter.com/cbic_india/status/1481483443938672640?s=20
