On 15.02.2022, Kolkata Customs arrested a person at Howrah Railway Station for smuggling gold bars.
Acting on specific information, custom officers intercepted one Scooty near Howrah Railway Station and seized 1166 grams of Gold Bars.
Custom officials recovered and seized 1166 grams of Gold Bars of foreign origin worth Rs. 60 Lakhs from the accused.
The accused is under custody and further investigation is under process.
