Maharashtra Board Extends deadline for class 12 registration; Check Revised Dates

Maharashtra State Board has extended the deadline for class 12 registration for the HSC. In place of October 21, registration is now open till  November 5.

The Secondary School Certificate (SSC) and Higher Secondary Certificate (HSC) board exam dates for the session 2022–23 were announced by the Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) earlier last month. The board had additionally revealed the dates for class 10 and class 12 enrollment. According to the Maharashtra State Board’s previous schedule, registration for classes 10 and 12 was open until October 21, 2022.

Now MSBSHSE has decided to extend the registration dates for HSC i.e. class 12. The board has given information about this through the official Twitter handle. According to the program changed by the board, now instead of October 21, registration can be done till November 5. As per the pre-scheduled date, the registration process for regular students was October 21 and for private candidates, the last date to apply was October 22, which has been extended to November 5.

Junior colleges have until November 11 to finish the registration fee and pre-list submission processes at the divisional offices of the Maharashtra State Board. According to information released by the Maharashtra State Board, the SSC registration period will begin on October 19 and last through November 10. Schools argue that this time period should be prolonged because it coincides with the Diwali holidays.

14,85,191 students were enrolled in school last year. The Maharashtra State Board Examinations attract thousands of students. 16,38,964 applicants from nine divisions applied for SSC total last year. For HSC 2022, 14,85,191 students from all over Maharashtra registered, 3,25,220 of them were from the Mumbai division alone. The anticipated dates for the HSC tests are February 21–March 20, 2023.
