MCA Notifies Extension of DIR-3-KYC and DIR-3-KYC-WEB Filing

The Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA) has issued General Circular No. 04/2025, dated September 29, 2025, giving a deadline extension for the filing of e-form DIR-3-KYC and web-form DIR-3-KYC-WEB without paying the filing fee. These forms are used for the annual KYC verification of the directors by the MCA.

The original due date for filing these forms was earlier, September 30, 2025. But, after receiving suggestions and requests, the MCA has decided to extend the deadline of filing DIR-3-KYC and DIR-3-KYC-WEB without payment of the filing fee until October 15, 2025.

The decision to extend the deadline has been taken with the approval of the Competent Authority and aims to ease the compliance burden on the directors by giving them more time to update their KYC details with the MCA without being penalised.
