Post Name and Vacancy for MDL Recruitment 2023:

As Per the official notification, MDL is hiring candidates for the following post:

Age Limit for MDL Recruitment 2023:

According to the official notification, the age limit required for posts is as follows:-

1. For the Post of General Manager, the candidate should not be more than 54 years of age.

2. For the Role of Additional General Manager, the eligible age should be below 52 years of age.

3. For the Role of Deputy General Manager. the age of the candidates should be less than 50 years 

4. For the Role of Chief Manager, the age of the candidates should be less than 46 years 

5. For the Role of Manager, the age of the candidates should be less than 42 years 

6. For the Role of Deputy Manager, the age of the candidates should be less than 38 years 

7. For the Role of Assistant Manager, the age of the candidates should be less than 34 years 

8. For the Role of Senior Engineer, the age of the candidates should be less than 30 years 

9. For the Role of Executive Trainee, the age of the candidates should be less than 28 years 

Educational Qualification for MDL Recruitment 2023:

For General Manager/Additional General Manager (Tech)

Qualification –

The Candidate Should have Full Time/Part Time/Correspondence Degree in Engineering in Mechanical / Electrical/Electronics discipline with First class or a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent, from a recognized University or Deemed University or

The Candidate Should have Institute recognized by AICTE. OR

The Candidate Should have Full Time/Part Time/Correspondence degree in Naval Architecture or a degree in Engineering with a Postgraduate Diploma in Naval Construction with First class or a minimum of 60% marks in both, Degree and Post-Graduation level OR

The Candidate Should have an equivalent from a recognized University or Deemed University Institute recognized by AICTE.

For Deputy General Manager (Finance)

Qualification –

The Candidate Should have Cost & Works Accounts (CWA) from the Institute of Cost & Works Accounts of India, Kolkata. OR

The Candidate Should have Chartered Accountants (CA) from the Institute of Chartered Accountants India, New Delhi. OR

The Candidate Should have Two years Full Time /Part Time/Correspondence MBA (Finance)/ MMS (Finance) from a recognized University or Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE with First Class or 60% Marks OR

The Candidate Should have Two years Full Time /Part Time/Correspondence Post Graduate Degree/ Diploma in Management (Finance) from an Institute recognized by AICTE with First Class or 60% Marks.

For Chief Manager, Manager, Deputy Manager, Assistant Manager, Senior Engineer (Technical)

Qualification –

The Candidate Should have Full Time/Part Time/Correspondence degree in Engineering in Mechanical/Electrical/ Electronic with minimum First Class or 60% Marks OR
equivalent CGPA from a recognized University/ Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE. OR

The Candidate Should have Full Time/ Part Time / Correspondence degree in Naval Architecture or a degree in Engineering with a Postgraduate Diploma in Naval Construction with First class or a minimum of 60% marks in both Degree and Post-Graduation level OR

The Candidate Should have an equivalent from a recognized University or Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE.

For Executive Trainee (Technical)

Qualification –

The Candidate Should have Full Time/ Part Time / Correspondence degree in Mechanical Engineering / Naval Architecture or degree in Engineering with Postgraduate Diploma in Naval

Construction with First class or minimum 60% marks in both Degree and PostGraduation level or equivalent from a recognized University or Deemed University or Institute recognized by AICTE.

Pay Scale for MDL Recruitment 2023:

As per the MDL Recruitment 2023 notification, the pay scales for the posts will be as follow:

1. For the Post of General Manager, the candidates will be placed at Rs. 120000-280000.
2. For the Role of Additional General Manager, the candidates will be placed at a Pay Scale of Rs. 100000-260000.
3. For the Post of Deputy General Manager, the selected candidate will be appointed at Rs. 90000-240000.
4. For the Role of Chief Manager, the selected candidate will be appointed at Rs. 80000-220000 
5. For the Role of Manager, the selected candidate will be appointed at Rs. 70000-200000 
6. For the Role of Deputy Manager,  the selected candidate will be appointed at Rs. 60000-180000 
7. For the Role of Assistant Manager, the selected candidate will be appointed at Rs. 50000-160000 
8. For the Role of Senior Engineer, the selected candidate will be appointed at Rs. 40000-140000 
9. For the Role of Executive Trainee, the selected candidate will be appointed at Rs. 40000-140000

Selection Procedure for MDL Recruitment 2023:

As per the official notification of MDL, the selection for the above-mentioned posts will be by way of a Personal Interview only. However, in the event of a large number of applications, management may decide to hold a Written Test followed by Personal Interview.

Important Dates for MDL Recruitment 2023:

MDL Recruitment 2023 will remain functional from 20 Jan ‘23 to – 19 Feb ‘23.

The date of Commencement of MDL Online Application – 20 Jan 2023.

The Last Date for the MDL Online Application is 19 Feb 2023.

The Tentative Date for the announcement of the Personal Interview schedule is 15 Mar 2023.

How to Apply for MDL Recruitment 2023:

According to MDL Recruitment 2023 Official Notification, the candidates need to take a printout of the Online Applications of candidates working in Govt. / PSU are to be sent through the proper channel to “DGM (HR-CR), Mazdock House, Mazagon Dock Shipbuilders Limited, Dockyard Road, Mumbai-400010”. Applications must be forwarded through Postal/ Courier services only (Internal candidates are required to submit their applications through their HOD to HR-E Section by hand).
