SMPORT Kolkata Recruitment 2023: The Senior Deputy Manager (Personnel & Industrial Relations), Syama Prasad Mookerjee Port (Haldia Dock Complex), Kolkata, Ministry of Shipping, Government of India, has invited Applications in respect of Experienced Candidates for the Post Diving Officer under Marine Operations Division of Haldia Dock Complex (HDC), Kolkata. There is 01 Vacancy to be filled with the Appointment of the Eligible Person.
As per the SMPORT Kolkata Recruitment 2023 Notification, The Cadre Controlling Authority (Proper Channel) at all the Major Ports may shortlist the Officers amongst the Candidates Eligible for Diving Officer Post and forward their Names/Candidatures in the form of an Advance Copy/ies of the Applications with the Requisite Documents Before or up to 23rd February 2023 (23.02.2023), presumably the Closing Date for receipt of Application. The Last Date for receipt of the duly completed Applications is 10th March 2023 (10.03.2023).
As notified vide the SMPORT Kolkata Recruitment 2023, Diving Officer Post in the Marine Operations Division is to be filled up under the Pay Scale of Rs. 40000 – 140000.

The Eligible Officer selected in the Position of Diving Officer Post will be entitled to the Pay Scale mentioned hereinabove as notified vide SMPORT Kolkata Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.

Selection on Diving Officer Post will be carried through by Merit vide the SMPORT Recruitment 2023 Advertisement.
Mandatory Benchmark for determining the Selection Criteria of Diving Officer involves overall Grading in the Annual Confidential Reports (ACRs/ Annual Performance Appraisal Reports (APARs) shall not be Below “Good”.
Submit the Eligible Candidate’s duly completed Application annexed with the prescribed documents all enclosed into an Envelope, super scribed as “Application for the Post Diving Officer under Marine Operations Division, HDC”, so as to reach the Office of Senior Deputy Manager (P&IR)
Documents for Submission with Duly completed Applications:
i) Preceding 05 Years’ Photostats/copies of the APARs duly attested by the Officer Not Below Deputy Head of Department Rank on each Page. [If any APAR for a Particular Year is not available, so the Last Available APAR may be furnished with a Non-Availability Certificate]
ii) Attested Photocopies of all Certificates and Proof of Educational Qualification, Present and Past Work Experience in the respective Post and Pay Scale.
iii) No Objection Certificate issued by the respective Port.
iv) Applicant Candidate’s Undertaking to the effect that the Candidature will not be withdrawn, if selected.
v) Vigilance and Administrative Clearance by the Concerned Port, as per enclosed Proforma
(Annexure-III).
vi) Two Passport-size Photographs.
vii) Applicant’s Complete Service Details with the Posts held till date.
viii) Applicant’s ACRs/APARs with Minimum “Good” Benchmark in overall Grading.
ix) If any Major/Minor penalty has been imposed on the Applicant during the Last 10 Years, the Disciplinary Case leading to such Penalty together with the necessary documents must be sent by the Forwarding Authority along with the Application. Vigilance Report is to be furnished in the Prescribed Format vide the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways’ Letter No. C-31018/5/2020-Vigilance Dated February 15, 2022 (Annexure-IV).
