Percentile score calculation for MHT CET Result 2024:

The question papers may vary in difficulty because the entrance exam was administered throughout several shifts and students were given distinct sets of question papers. To maintain equivalency, a normalization procedure will be employed. The method will involve converting the applicants’ raw marks into percentile ratings, which are determined by comparing each candidate’s performance to the others.

Students’ percentile scores will be computed to seven decimal places to prevent bunching effects and lessen the likelihood of ties between two candidates. This formula will be used to determine the percentage score:

A candidate’s score is equal to 100 times the number of candidates who participated in the session with their raw scores.

Normalizations Method for MHT CET Result 2024:

The following is the detailed process for normalizing and preparing the percentile score in MHT CET 2024:

Step 1: Examinees are divided into two days and two shifts each day.

The four sessions of applicants who took the exam would be randomly assigned to each other, with roughly the same number of candidates in each. The four meetings would take place as follows:

Session 1: Day 1 batch 1-1,
Session 2: Day 1 batch 2,
Session 3: Day 2 batch 1
Session 4: Day 2 batch 2

Step 2: Results for every session are prepared.

Each session’s MHT CET exam results will be prepared as separate raw scores and percentile scores for every subject.

Step 3: CET score compilation

The CET scores, which are the percentile ratings for the combined raw scores from all four sessions, will be combined and utilized to compile the Maharashtra CET results.
